More information to go along with Child abuse

What are the best methods to reduce the amount of child abuse in Indiana?

There’s a child that is being abuse every. We want to help children but do we really know what to do to help. I want to inform people the best way to help a child in need without making it even worst for the child that is being harmed. You are always going to want to go and take the child away but by doing you can get in trouble and then the child could harmed and that is what we are trying to avoid.

  1. Sounds like a good subject. maybe ask more questions than just how to prevent it. What are the known rates of child abuse? What are the signs that a child is being abused? Stuff like that.

  2. I just moved mine over to this one so you don't have to switch around as much.

Your topic is very specific which is good. You should be able to find a lot of data and stats on Indiana itself. Child abuse is definitely a real issue and I would assume that it has several effects on the person as an adult.

  3. What are the best methods to reduce the amount of child abuse in Indiana?

This is kind of a tough question to answer. The environments that produce child abuse can be so different from one another. Are there methods to reduce child abuse? Maybe just answering the question of how to prevent abuse in foster homes? Or the methods used to select suitable foster homes for children? I think its hard to prevent child abuse however, when you dont know WHO the abusers are.

  4. I like that this is specific to Indiana. It makes the search less broad and more to the point. It will be interesting to see if Indiana is much different than most states. Thes best partof this paper I believe will be the preventative actions that can be taken and the facts that come specifically to Indiana.

  5. I agree with Scott on that it's nice that you chose to narrow it down to Indiana specifically. There, you can focus on the laws against child abuse and what organizations are active here to build up your points. However, it may be difficult to find how to "reduce" such a problem as child abuse. Considering it's more of a human problem than a more, say, scientific one. Meaning, we need to focus more on human behavior or does Indiana's specific government need to create more/more efficient laws to crack down on child abuse. Also, why not research the effect it has on adults as well as doing this? As I've said, it's a human issue and discussing the effects as a child up to an adult age would help build your argument.
